Is there parking nearby?

While we don’t have on-site parking, there are plenty of options just a short walk away. Wilson Parking, Care Park and the Convention Centre carpark are all close by, making it easy to park and stroll over for your booking. But why drive? We are directly opposite Adelaide Railway Station on North Terrace. The Adelaide Tram stops right out front, connecting us quickly and easily to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide Botanic Gardens & Victoria Square and the Adelaide Central Markets.

Are you near Adelaide Oval?
We sure are. We are your meeting place, The Strathmore Hotel is just a 6-minute walk across the footbridge from Adelaide Oval, making it the go-to pub for pre-game drinks and post-match celebrations. With heaps of beers on tap, delicious food, and a buzzing game-day atmosphere, we’re open until 3am so the party doesn’t have to stop.

Are you near the Adelaide Convention Centre?
Yes! The Strathmore Hotel is across the road from the Adelaide Convention Centre and your “local” when staying in the CBD. We’re one of the most convenient pubs and restaurants for a meal or drinks before or after your event. Or after spending a long day inside, we’re the perfect spot to relax with a drink or enjoy a Stonegrill.

Do you have different dining options at the hotel?

Absolutely. The Strathmore offers both relaxed dining downstairs in Café One Two Nine and a more elevated experience upstairs in both Verandah Bar & Verandah Dining. Whether you’re after a casual burger and pint or premium a la carte we’ve got you covered. And of course, steak cooked on our signature Stonegrill is available throughout.

Do you cater for large groups and functions?

Yes, we love hosting groups! From birthday celebrations to corporate dinners or after parties, we can tailor packages to suit your needs. Our spaces can accommodate everything from small gatherings to larger functions, with food and drinks designed to impress.

Do I need to make a booking, or do you accept walk-ins?
We always do our absolute best to accommodate walk -ins, but bookings are advisable, especially on event days near Adelaide Oval. Adelaide Festival Centre or the Adelaide Convention Centre to secure your spot
